Ace Richardson
Ace Richardson

Vice President of Development

Ace’s primary focus at Red Rock Developments is procuring and overseeing projects for industrial developments located in Western Markets. Ace leads market analysis, site selection and investigation, deal pursuit and negotiation, underwriting, entitlement, design, pre-construction and construction.

Prior to Red Rock, Ace lead a self-storage roll out that exceeded $120 million in total development cost and 650,000 gross square feet. The portfolio completed properties in major markets such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington DC.

Ace graduated from the University of Alabama earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with specialization in Real Estate, as well as a Masters in Real Estate Development from Clemson University. He has lived in Los Angeles since 2017 where he enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as camping, golfing, playing beach volleyball and riding his bike.

Cherie Sanderson
Cherie Sanderson

Director of Accounting

As Director of Accounting, Cherie manages Red Rock’s joint venture and property level accounting in addition to its corporate accounting. She is an integral part of the firm’s cash management processes.

With over 22 years of tax experience in public accounting, Cherie Sanderson contributes significant expertise to Red Rock Developments. Previously with Grant Thornton LLP, Cherie has significant experience in financial reporting for privately-owned companies, their owners and related flow through entities.

Cherie holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a licensed CPA in South Carolina.  She and her husband, Brad, have four children and are members of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church in Lexington, SC.

Kaki Mac Lain
Kaki Mac Lain

Development Associate

As a member of Red Rock, Kaki’s primary focus is on West Coast development as well as closing coordination for joint venture formations and asset sales, marketing, and accounting support.

Previously, Kaki worked for NAI Earle Furman in Greenville, SC on their Franchise Real Estate Services team.  She provided outsourced real estate services to franchisors and their franchisees and helped clients source locations, execute leases, prepare for openings, and expertly navigate the real estate process. She’s worked with clients such as ARCpoint Labs, Urban Nirvana, and 9Round.

Kaki received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Real Estate Development, both from Clemson University. She and her husband Eric live in Columbia, SC after living in both Charlotte and Greenville before that. In their free time they love traveling and spending time with their dog, Sam.

Spencer Green
Spencer Green

Vice President of Development

Spencer’s primary focus at Red Rock Developments is project development, new market pursuits, and assisting in project underwriting.

Previously with Cushman & Wakefield in Atlanta, Spencer specialized in multi-market tenant representation and helped lead over $340 million in transaction volume over 32 states and three countries. Spencer also played an integral role in technology development and streamlining system operations and served as the junior representative on C&W’s Industrial Services Executive Committee for the Americas.

Spencer is from Memphis, TN, a graduate of the University of Alabama, and lived in Atlanta with his wife Rossi until moving to Columbia, SC. They have a son, Mac, and a red lab, Presley.

John Coleman
John Coleman

Financial Associate

John’s primary focus at Red Rock Developments is managing property level finances throughout the development process. This includes building and analyzing financial models for proposed projects and overseeing accounting and financials for ongoing projects.

John holds a BA in Public Policy and an MA in Political Science from Duke University as well as an MBA from USC’s Darla Moore School of Business.  While attending Duke, John was a member of the varsity football team where he helped lead the Blue Devils to an ACC Coastal Championship and to the Peach Bowl.

When not at work, John enjoys being outside, cooking and playing music.  He also enjoys cheering for his alma mater, the Duke Blue Devils; particularly, their football and men’s basketball teams.

Todd Ward
Todd Ward

Senior Vice President of Planning & Entitlements

As a member of the Red Rock team, Todd oversees planning, entitlements, government relations, and incentives.

Prior to Red Rock, Todd spent three years at Carvana leading the Real Estate Development & Entitlements Team.  Over Todd’s time at Carvana, the team was successfully able to deliver multiple car vending machines, logistics hubs, and a 12 100-acre vehicle inspection centers.  Prior to Carvana, Todd was co-owner and principal of SC Development Consulting, development manager for The Furman Co., and principal planner for Greenville County, SC.

Todd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation, & Tourism Management as well as a Masters of Public Administration, both from Clemson University. He and his wife Angie are currently in Greenville, SC after living in Phoenix, AZ . They have a 6-pound rescue dog named Bitsy, who really, rescued them. Todd and Angie are members of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Taylors, SC.
