The Southeast Regional conference for SIOR was held this past weekend (Aug 25-27) in Savannah. Representing Red Rock Developments was Bill Smith, our CEO, John Barker, Jr,SIOR, our President & Chief Development Officer and Leah B. Bailey,SIOR, our VP of Office and Industrial. Many familiar faces were there and new relationships were formed. Despite the rain, the outdoor events were still held - Clay Shooting, Golf and Fishing tournaments. Red Rock Developments provided prizes for the Clay shooting event. The highest score went to Brandon Carson who was awarded a box of shells and Danielle Pickard was the winner of a Red Ryder BB gun, they are both with Florida Power and Light Company in Juno Beach, Florida.
Red Rock Developments is undergoing a new brand initiative and this conference was the first time we were able to unveil our new look with our table-top display board. Be on the look out for a fresh new website in the near future!
We also held a drawing to win the white YETI cooler pictured above - after many SIOR's dropped in their business cards, our drawing was held and we would like to congratulate Ford Borders with NAI Earle Furman, LLC out of Greenville, South Carolina. We hope the cooler has many fun outings with you, Ford!
Red Rock and SIOR were joint sponsors for the SIOR Inspirational Breakfast held Sunday, the 27th. An incredible morning led by Ashley Smith. Ashley Smith is known worldwide as the single mother who persuaded Brian Nichols, Atlanta’s courtroom killer, to surrender to police. Nichols himself called Ashley “an angel sent from God", but ironically, it was Ashley’s less-than-angelic past that convinced him to face justice. Ashley believes God led her through the highly publicized experience to help “unlikely angels” everywhere find hope. She went on to write her best-selling book, Unlikely Angel.
We are so thankful to have been a part of a great event hosted by the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort. For more information on the Inspirational Breakfast, click here.
