As part of the team selected to build the North American headquarters for Volvo Construction, a principal of Red Rock Developments was integral in the preconstruction and construction phases during a difficult Asheville, North Carolina winter.
An unusual design aspect of this building, unlike most corporate office buildings, is the two-story high bay construction at one end of the building accessed by large drive-in doors. This area facilitates the presentation of newly-developed heavy construction equipment. The presentation area includes full height mechanical curtains, a presentation podium and large stadium seating auditorium plus two instructional maintenance training areas— truly a project with a unique combination of design elements.
The project was developed or constructed by principals of Red Rock Developments prior to founding the company.
