TNT Logistics/ Michelin NA chose to build and lease a distribution center which could serve the growing mid-south region. This project also became part of a larger sale/leaseback transaction of all of Michelin’s company-owned distribution centers. Obviously, TNT Logistics was impressed by the “rolling up our sleeves approach.”
Working with local fire officials a proposed plan was established that saved TNT significant dollars and reduced the risk of a catastrophic fire. What’s more impressive is the reduction of a mountain to a suitable building site by moving over a million cubic yards of dirt and rock. Attacking unique challenges such as these head on is evidence that an experienced developer understands problem solving solutions.
