This client needed a 20-year fixed rate lease allowing them to maintain long term control of their facility in accordance with an operating lease as defined by FASB 13. Additional challenges included:

  • a remote project site
  • a pre-selected team of architects, engineers and subcontractors spread out across the United States

Knowledge of the South Carolina permitting processes and an understanding of state and local incentives were critical to make this project a success for all parties.
 
The project was developed or constructed by principals of Red Rock Developments prior to founding the company.
