When Florence was one of 200 communities being considered by Monster.com, the world’s leader in online job search, they called Red Rock. Known for single tenant building solutions, Red Rock worked aggressively to provide concepts and budgets at the very first meeting. This was important to Florence and Monster as they both needed an experienced partner who could deliver quickly. As the project morphed, Red Rock moved to answer Monster’s needs. The solution is a flexible, spoke-shaped floor plan that allows the facility to double while displaying Monster’s high energy style to the adjacent Interstate-95 interchange. While the project was delivered in ten months with no change orders, it was not without challenges. As the project was developing, credit markets were crashing, Red Rock’s strong capital position was able to overcome all lender obstacles. Red Rock coordinated a shell contractor and an architect, as well as a separate interior designer and contractor. The result is a successful project for all parties, and most importantly, over 350 new jobs for Florence!
