Michelin, N.A. – Louisville, KY – 150,000 SF

Red Rock Developments completed a 150,000-square-foot distribution facility for Michelin North America, an international leader in tire production. The new distribution facility, located at Riverport Industrial Park in Louisville, Kentucky, serves Michelin North America’s existing production facility in Louisville and is critical to the company’s supply chain and logistics strategy.

Red Rock Developments was awarded this project after a two-year competitive bidding process, including multiple local and national developers. Deciding factors in Red Rock Developments’ selection included a cost-effective, comprehensive design that compressed overall site development costs; and the ability to successfully provide a competitive rate while still maintaining Michelin’s stringent production standard requirements. Red Rock was also able to deliver on a fast-track schedule despite significant weather challenges and provided Michelin with a Certificate of Occupancy within the required timeframe.
