Ekornes, ASA – Morganton, NC – 100,000 SF

Ekornes ASA, based in Norway, is the largest furniture manufacturer in the Nordic region and owns such brand names as Ekornes, Stressless, and Svane. Products are manufactured in Norway and marketed all over the world by a network of national and regional sales companies. Ekornes was looking to expand into the North American market and conducted a thorough site search. Ultimately, they chose to locate their first North American facility in Morganton, North Carolina.

Red Rock Developments was selected to represent Burke Development, Inc. and Burke County in the development and up-fit of their new 100,000-square-foot production facility in Burke County. Red Rock was also tasked with providing development oversight and construction management services for the project.
